The champions promenade

The “Champions Promenade” is a mythical seaside place that is a must-see for any visit to the Principality of Monaco. Inspired by Hollywood’s world-famous Walk of Fame on Sunset Boulevard, it features the footprints of more than 120 of the greatest international footballers of all time, including Maradona, Pelé, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ronaldinho Gaúcho, Zlatan Ibrahimović, Didier Drogba, George Best, Alfredo Di Stefano, Eusébio, and many more. Soon, you will also find the footprints of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, in honour of his support for Golden Foot since 2003.

Every year since 2003, outstanding footballers have been awarded the right to put their footprints on the Promenade. This takes place at the Golden Foot Monaco Awards, an international event organised under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco. The winners receive a gold trophy. An exhibition will be soon held in their honour in the “Golden Foot Café”.
