Gianluigi Buffon is an Italian goalkeeper, born in Carrara on January 28, 1978. He is considered one of the best goalkeepers in the history of football and made his debut in professional football with the Parma shirt in 1995. He remained in Parma for six seasons, being noted for his undisputed qualities among the posts also by Juventus who, in 2001, bought Buffon for a figure that made him, until 2018, the most expensive goalkeeper in the history of football. At Juventus it becomes a symbol and an element of inspiration for the youngest. In total, with the Juventus shirt, Buffon spent 19 seasons, interspersed with a brief annual parenthesis, between 2018 and 2019, in which he moved to France, to Paris Saint-Germain. The final farewell to Juventus takes place in 2021, when the Italian goalkeeper decides to return to Parma, his first professional team.
