Roberto Carlos da Silva Rocha, known simply as Roberto Carlos, is a Brazilian footballer, with a defender role, born in Garça on April 10, 1973. He is considered one of the best full backs in the history of football. R.Carlos had considerable ballistic skills and in fact became famous for the ease with which he often scored from a free-kick. For a defender, Roberto Carlos boasts excellent offensive skills. He made his debut in the professionals in 1991 and in the following years he will wear important shirts such as Inter or Real Madrid.

With the clubs, Roberto Carlos plays 985 games, also collecting 118 goals. With the jersey of his own national team, however, he plays 125 appearances (2nd in history for matches played with Brazil) and scores 11 goals.
