Roberto Baggio is an Italian footballer, born in Caldogno on February 18, 1967. Roberto Baggio made his debut in professional football at the age of 16, with the Vicenza shirt. He is immediately noticed by more famous teams, such as Fiorentina, a team in which Baggio played for five seasons. From Fiorentina, Baggio moved to Juventus, and then also wore the shirts of Milan, Bologna, Inter and Brescia. Baggio is considered one of the best footballers of all time and in 1993 he was awarded the golden ball. With the clubs, Roberto Baggio, he scored 291 goals in 643 appearances. With the national team, however, he has scored 27 goals in 56 appearances.
In 2003 Roberto Baggio won the Golden Foot, thus becoming the first player to leave his footprints along the Promenade des Champions in Monte Carlo.
